TOTAL Jordan signs an agreement with the Royal Scientific Society
TOTAL Jordan recently entered into cooperation with the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) for soil testing activities within the Kingdom

AMMAN, JORDAN, October 29, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- TOTAL Jordan recently entered into cooperation with the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) for soil testing activities within the Kingdom.
TOTAL Jordan's cooperating with RSS will enable to test soil samples for the presence of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). This cooperation is a result of an environmental friendly initiative, and a move toward ensuring and maintaining a good living environment within the Kingdom.
Following the ceremony, the Managing Director, Mr. Arnaud Guichard commented: "TOTAL Jordan is proud to contribute to the scientific and technological research and development in Jordan. We are pleased to support the Royal Scientific Society in its mission."
From his end, Dr. Saqer Abdel-Rahim, Acting Executive Vice President from the Royal Scientific Society added: "The RSS is very happy of this new collaboration with TOTAL Jordan, as we hope that it will be the start of a fruitful cooperation for the benefit of both parties"
The Royal Scientific Society (RSS) is a non-profit organization aimed at conducting scientific and technological research relevant to the development process in Jordan. RSS pays special attention to industrial research projects and services. It is also positioned to spread awareness on various issues related to the science and technology fields and at providing specialized technical consultations and services to the public and private sectors.
