Houston, TX, December 11, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Natalia Kalitynska, Upstream Research Analyst for Wood Mackenzie, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of petroleum management.

As an Upstream Research Analyst, Ms. Kalitynska is responsible for researching and gathering information on assets, markets and companies with an emphasis on the commercial and financial aspects of the energy sector as well as analyzing the data and information to produce quantitative and qualitative in-depth reviews and updates. She also writes periodic Insight reports on top energy issues. She considers completing her thesis titled, "Economics and Engineering Evaluation of Hydraulic Fracture Practices in the Piceance Basin, Colorado" to be the highlight of her career, and she attributes her success to the support she received from her family. She became involved in her profession because of her interest in integrated economics.

Ms. Kalitynska received her Bachelor's Degree in Economics followed by a Master's Degree in Energy and Mineral Resources from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. She was named on the Chancellor's List in 2006, the Dean's List in 2004 and received Distinguished Scholar Awards from the University of Texas in 2005 and 2004. A former actress and concert pianist, Ms. Kalitynska is pursuing her artistic interests in choral singing, performing in choirs such the Austin Symphony Chorus. She also contributes to the Texas Children's Hospital as a volunteer. Ms. Kalitynska hopes to work as a petroleum economist and a consultant in the future.
