Jacobs Energy's Services Division in High Demand
Jacobs Energy Drilling (JED) is rapidly gaining new relationships and respect among operators due to the expansion, implementation and deployment of their equipment, techniques and technologies.
GLASGOW, KY, February 27, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacobs Energy and its services division, Jacobs Energy Drilling are leaders in the oil and gas industry through continued research, development and implementation of the newest technologies, techniques and strategies that can enhance production results worldwide. Their focus is in the Appalachian Basin and Illinois Basin, mainly in Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Jacobs Energy has attracted much attention from various entities including be chosen as a "Top 100 Company" to act as a consultant to the Government Accounting Office (GAO) and the Department of Energy (DOE), has been interviewed for a The Economic Report special that will be aired on CNN, MSNBC and various other stations, has been chosen to speak about technology at the Ohio Oil and Gas Association / Society of Petroleum Engineers conference, as well as various other honors. These accolades have put Jacobs Energy Drilling in high demand among other oil and gas producers throughout the region to help enhance production and efficiency.
Jacobs Energy Drilling (JED) is rapidly gaining new relationships and respect among operators due to the expansion, implementation and deployment of their equipment, techniques and technologies. Oil and natural gas companies are reporting increased and better than expected production in new and existing wells thanks to services provided by JED. Jeremy Jacobs (CEO) says, "Producing more energy through the use of modern technology can reduce the amount of wells that are drilled thus helping to preserve our environment. We can now re-enter wells that were once thought of as non-producers or 'marginal' and produce oil or natural gas without making our planet a giant pin cushion. 'Maximizing Production and Minimizing Impact' is what Jacobs Energy is all about." Listed below are several of the services and products that Jacobs Energy Drilling provides.
Hydraulic Nitrogen Fracture Management Services: Jacobs Energy has extensive experience and the knowledge that can help operators achieve maximum potential within a specific, identified pay zone using modern fracture techniques.
3D Logging Truck: This geophysical logging unit greatly improves the ability to locate gas breaks, gamma, porosity and density readings using 3 dimension technologies.
Down Hole Camera: Provides the ability to view the inside of the well with a camera that gives high clarity video/pictures of the well bore while logging the depth. Down hole imaging will give clear, visible indications of oil seeps which can pinpoint exact perforation points for Radial Jet Enhancement, Hydraulic Nitrogen Fracture, or horizontal drilling. This can also assist in spotting damage in the casing, tubing and well bore without the expense of tripping pipe or removing tubing.
Paraffin Tool: This amazing innovation could increase oil production exponentially throughout the world by separating paraffin molecules, thus bringing previously unproductive wells back online without the added expenses of steam treatments etc. The Paraffin Tool is attached to the sucker rod and, as an added benefit, could help to keep down-hole equipment free of paraffin buildup thus decreasing maintenance and repair costs over the life of the well. The Paraffin Tool can save energy, time, money, increase or restore production and virtually eliminate negative environmental impact. There is virtually no limit to the applications for the Paraffin Tool technology when it comes to increasing flow and reducing buildup in pipes, lines and tubes, whether it's oil, gasoline, water etc.
Horizontal Radial Jet Enhancement: Radial Jet Enhancement, a method of jet drilling horizontal laterals using a high-pressure water jet, is a patented development to improve oil and natural gas production of existing oil and gas wells. Utilizing existing well bores, the Radial Jet Enhancement technology can laterally enter areas in a "wheel and spoke" fashion and penetrate up to 300 feet, in all directions, at depths of 6000 feet or less.
