Joshua Bousum Showcases Professional Brand through Cambridge Who's Who
Joshua Bousum Supervises and Develops Training for Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Station

OMAHA, NE, August 6, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joshua Bousum, Operations Training Specialist for Omaha Public Power District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of energy administration.

Mr. Bousum's expertise is in nuclear power operations and nuclear engineering. He has 14 years of professional experience, with the last two of these years spent in his current position at OPPD. As Operations Training Specialist, he is responsible primarily for overseeing instruction, development and planning for nuclear power plants. Previously, Mr. Bousum served in the U.S. Navy, where he also worked in nuclear power, and from which he was honorably discharged with the rank of Lieutenant after 12 years of service. He became involved in his profession, which combines engineering and training, because of the influence of members of his family, many of whom were either sailors or teachers. He attributes his success to his strong home values and drive to better himself, and to the support that he received from his grandfather, who was his mentor.

An alumnus of the University of Kansas, Mr. Bousum received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2001. He is a member of the Professional Reactor Operator Society, the American Society for Training and Development, and the University of Kansas Alumni Association. His goals for the next five years include obtaining his Master's Degree and professional engineering certification, and becoming the director or supervisor of the nuclear power plant training program.
