SHEBOYGAN, WI, April 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pentair Industrial Versaflex Series filter cartridges feature thermally-bonded, glue-free design to ensure process compatibility. The thermal bonding process seals the endcap securely to the cartridge--without the use of glue in the design--assuring bypass-free operation. Versaflex Series cartridges feature 100% polypropylene, and they are manufactured with only FDA-listed materials. No surfactants, binders or adhesives are used in production. Designed with graded density matrixes to trap contaminants, Versaflex cartridges offer high dirt-loading capability, as well as long operational life.

Versaflex meltblown polypropylene filter cartridges are available in two models: VF-250MB and VF-250HE. Both models deliver superior filtration, and the VF-250HE operates at 99% efficiency with micron ratings from one to 75. A broad range of diameters, lengths and micron ratings are available, in addition to chemical compatibility in the majority of applications. The micron rating is stamped onto each cartridge to facilitate easy identification.

To withstand a wide array of application environments, Versaflex cartridges operate at a temperature rating of 40 degree to 180 degree F. The temperature ratings and proven performance, along with high efficiency and a bypass-free design, allow Versaflex Series cartridges to provide superior flow rates and longer life than customary spun-bonded and stringwound cartridges.
