International petrochemical marketing firm, The Plaza Group, is honored with BNSF Railway Company's Annual Product Stewardship Award for safety in the transportation of hazardous materials.
HOUSTON, TX, April 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Plaza Group, an international petrochemical marketing firm, has been recognized with BNSF Railway Company's Annual Product Stewardship Award for its commitment to the safety in the transportation of hazardous materials by rail.
The Stewardship Award honors shippers who successfully implement the ethics of Product Stewardship under the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care initiative - a global effort spanning 53 national associations working toward the advancement of safe and secure management of chemical products and processes. Award recipients must achieve zero non-accident releases (NARs) during the complete transportation cycle of a minimum 500 loaded tank cars of hazardous materials in the previous year.
