Edward D. Thibodo to be Profiled in Exclusive Registry

SANTEE, CA, December 8, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Edward D. Thibodo, Owner/Operator of Silver Wolf Consulting, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in contract support of energy and renewable energy programs.

Mr. Thibido has over 40 years of acquisition experience and has spent the past 20 years in the energy conservation arena. His expertise in this area is recognized nationwide by his peers. He has awarded more than $600 million in various energy conservation and renewable projects. He has worked closely with financial institutions and utility companies developing alternative financing for energy programs and procuring resource efficiency managers. He is a Vietnam War veteran and worked as the lead energy contracting officer for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest. Mr. Thibodo's expertise includes the procurement of energy conservation service through vehicles such as; Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) and the Energy Service Performance Contract. His knowledge of federal contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations, energy acts and laws, resource efficiency programs, power purchase agreements and third party financed arrangements is second to none. Currently, he offers the government, utilities and private sector guidance and support with contracting actions, develops strategies, completes documentation, resolves barriers, and builds and trains teams to support contract team efforts.

Mr. Thibodo received a certificate in management from the University of Phoenix in 1984, a certificate in management from California State University, Long Beach in 1975, and an Associate of Science in Ship Construction from Long Beach Community College in 1973. He also completed a management certificate program at Long Beach City College, and an electrician apprenticeship program.

A member of the Federal Utility Partnership Working Group, he has been honored by the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) with the 2009 "You Have the Power" award, the 2002 Lewis R. Harris Award from the U.S. Department of Energy, and in 2006 was named the SDG&E "Excellence in Energy Savings Champion". In his spare time, Mr. Thibodo is an active volunteer in his community providing support and education to recovering addicts in various addiction programs. He hopes to reduce energy consumption in the United States by helping the energy industry meet its renewable goals.
