Pauline Rauh Represents the City of Stamford in Education
Pauline recognized for excellence as teacher, principal, superintendent and now, city representative

STAMFORD, CT, March 9, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Pauline Rauh, Ed.D., Board of Education member and former Education Committee Chairwoman for The Stamford Board of Representatives, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education and public service.

With four decades of professional expertise, Pauline Rauh, Ed.D., is a noted authority on administration, curriculum and instruction. In her four years as Education Committee Chairwoman for The Stamford Board of Representatives, she worked to represent the city concerns in redistricting schools, liaise with citizens, the Board of Education and the Budget Committee to develop programs and policies for the educational system, city-wide, and create energy improvement strategies.

Prior to joining The Stamford Board of Education, Ms. Rauh worked as a superintendent for four years and as a principal for 14 years, after teaching elementary school. Today, she serves as the Vice Chairwoman of the Personnel Committee and formerly as a Fiscal Committee Liaison to the Board of Education Budget Committee. Recognized for her diplomatic and analytical nature, Ms. Rauh will continue to represent the district as she moves forward.

Ms. Rauh holds a doctor of education from Columbia University's Teachers College. This year, she was honored with Cambridge Publishing's coveted VIP status for her professional excellence.
