DENVER, CO, October 03, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anne Grau, Independent Geological Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the application of science to business.

Dr. Grau's career choice was decided by the influence of her father, a scientist and mathematician, and her fascination with geological formations. She went on to pursue Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Geology at Baylor University, and then earned a Ph.D. in Geology, with a minor in Geophysics, from Colorado School of Mines. She is a member of the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts.

Dr. Grau now has 21 years of experience and currently works as Senior Exploration Geologist at Fidelity Exploration and Production Company. Previous positions include Exploitation Manager at Triangle Petroleum, Exploration Lead at Newfield Rocky Mountains, Project Geologist at EOG Resources, and Geologist II at Marathon's former research facility in Littleton, CO. Carrying her expertise in unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, she manages subsurface, including all technical aspects of oil and gas, and geology. Currently, Dr. Grau is operating in Denver specializing in unconventional resource development.
