Gilbert E. Cohen Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Exclusive Registry
Mr. Cohen has been selected as an Executive of the Year for 2011-2012

MORRISVILLE, NC, August 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gilbert Cohen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Eliasol Energy, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in consulting services.

Mr. Cohen has amassed 30 years of professional experience in the area of solar power technology, and he currently lends his expertise to the industry as a consultant. As president and CEO of Eliasol Energy, he designs solar power plants on an international basis. He has participated in the development of four solar power plants in Spain, all 11 solar power plants in the United States, and several other plants in India and Israel. He has received accolades for his advanced knowledge of solar power energy, and in 2002 received the prestigious Hoyt Clarke Hottel Award from the American Solar Energy Society Inc. and in 2011, he was elected as a fellow member of the Society.

Mr. Cohen earned a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering in France. He is a former board member of the American Solar Energy Society Inc., and he maintains affiliations with ASME and the International Solar Energy Society. He feels that he has been able to achieve his goals because he has remained resolute in his commitment to support the development of solar energy and power sources. Looking ahead, Mr. Cohen plans to aid in the development of 1,000-megawatt solar power plants.
